And so we had some red dragon-fruit for dessert last night. Soon after we had a grand talk about each other being defensive on certain things, she? her being too nice at times and me? my whole deal about all things food related. You see, I love food...sometimes I get quite passionate with it and hence I'm quite picky about them but with work nowadays, I eat what I get and eat when I can. So here was us talking about my so called problem:
She: Since I've known you...I'm more TOXIC!
Me: Ohhh...really? That's like a slap in the face!
She: Yea, think about it - you love Meat too much...
Me: I need meat, you still don't get it do you?
She: I want my vegetables...
Me: I love my vegetables...
She: Yes, you love them deep fried (Me: I've got a soft spot for Tempura =)) or MSG-laden! Same goes for your meat too...
Me: Can't help it right with the MSG part, I can't tell restaurants to not put MSG in!
She: But you can eat from the organic store
Me: Its expensive! I do love my raw vegetables!
She: Well then eat less meat...
Me: I won't...
She: Eh, what's that on your mouth...(she reaches over to check...)
Me: Umm...what?
She: You've got red marks all over...
Me: Yar?
Me: Oh, I had some raw meat...since I can't have them any other way!
(brief pause...)
She: HHAHAHAH...You're a nut, it was from the dragonfruit nut head...
Me: =P You wanted ne to have raw vege, why not just say it that you want me eat raw meat too! =)
She: Baaaah...you'll get mad cow soon enough!
Sometime later...an sms:
I will (fill in the blanks) you through meat, vegetables and fruits...till famine do us part, your nut head...-she-
And I will all eat things raw: meat, vege, fruits till the mad cows come home...your coconutman, me
